In the summers of my childhood, my extended family would always gather at the Jersey Shore for some quality family time. One of my favorite memories is when my mother or grandmother or aunts would take long walks along the water’s edge. Sometimes these walks were for exercise and catching up. Quite often we took these walks to enjoy the sound of the waves and scan the shoreline for pretty seashells in soft pinks or smooth cool grays to add to our collections.

The Shellseeker is a sweet shawlette inspired by the gentle pink and cream seashells from my childhood. This two-toned accessory is worked flat with short row shaping and a shell lace edging.
