Knitted toe-up, with a heel flap & gusset construction, Shepherd´s Pie socks are inspired by the traditions (foods, clothings, songs..). of the Shepherd´s in the region of Extremadura.

The yarn I used, a 100% merino yarn from DehesaLana, is an ecological Merino wool from native sheep of the area of Extremadura. This is a heavy weight, non-superwash yarn ideal for textured knitting projects.
