CONSTRUCTION NOTES. French Bulldogs have a unique body shape with round contours, a broad chest, and a compact frame. Because of their structure, a well-fitting sweater needs special design elements, such as a wider chest area, a tailored belly cut, and flexible armholes to ensure comfort and ease of movement. These adjustments help create a snug yet comfortable fit that doesn’t restrict their mobility.
• This vest has rounded shapes that follow the natural contours of dog breeds like French Bulldogs, Pugs, ect.
• This design is created taking into account the breed characteristics and body structure to have the best fit.
• This garment is made in one piece, top down. Rounded curves created by using German short rows, increases and decreases.
• First, the collar is worked in the round.
• After collar, back and font are worked separately flat.
• Then, the back and the front piece are joined together and worked in the round.
• The bottom edge is finished with an “i-cord bind-off”.
• All lengths in this pattern are recommended and can be customized to your pet`s measurements.
