I found some awesome, big, weird, awkward yarn in my stash the other day, and I figured I should knit an awesome, big, weird, awkward hat! Imagine the crazy big French painter’s hat from a cartoon and you’ve pretty much got the right idea.

Anyhow, I ran out of that yarn way too soon, so I started over with a different skein of bulky yarn. And I this is the pattern I used. :) It’s my first try at writing a pattern, so please comment here or on my blog if you find any problems.
