(1) crochet pattern for a Shih Tzu Pillow. Made with really soft “I Love This Yarn” brand yarn, this pillow displays a Tzu silhouette, head cocked to the side with ALL the playful curiousness of the breed, highlighted by a rosy pink background and a heart for all the “feels” of this favorite breed. A great gift to make for the Shih Tzu lover in your life. And also a nice project to create for your Tzu rescue charity auction.

This fun pillow was made using the “intarsia” method, which is just a fancy word for ‘rows of single crochet and color changes’. Intarsia crochet is not super difficult and works up fairly quickly. There are quite a few good videos on youtube for intarsia crochet available, should you want to view them.

Pattern includes instruction and tips for how to do intarsia crochet, specific instructions for THIS particular pattern and a colored graph. “I Love This Yarn” brand yarn was used for this pattern, however any medium weight (#4) worsted weight yarn with comparable colors can be used. Front of the pillow has the french shih tzu, the back is plain rose pink.
