Shima Socks
Shima Socks are classic striped socks worked from the cuff down. The name “Shima” is inspired by the Japanese word for stripes: short, clean, and expressive, just like the graphic rhythm of this design.
This pattern is written step by step, making it a great first sock project for adventurous beginners and confident beginners. The socks feature a 2x2 ribbed cuff, a stockinette stitch leg, a reinforced heel flap, a gusset, and a wedge toe finish. The pattern is written for the Magic Loop method.
