A beaded, knitted lace shawl composed of different repeating panels, the Alpaca and Extra Fine Wool blend yarn is so delicate it sways a little with the body, giving an endlessly elegant result. It flows whichever way it is worn, traditionally draped over the shoulders, or worn more casually as a neckerchief.

Pattern notes
Shawl is worked in rows from centre out, combining chart reps along the rows between knit st spines. First and last two sts of each row form garter st edging. First st of every row is sl wyif to provide attractive edge with sufficient stretch for robust blocking. Pm on each k1 indicated in bold, moving sm up every few rows. Beads are added using crochet hook method in Knitting Charts F and G. RCO method creates stretchy cast-off enabling robust blocking. In RCO, if preferred, instead of k2, slip both sts back to left needle and k2togtbl; k2, put left needle into front of the two sts on right needle and knit tog for same result.
