”No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven” Matthew 5:15-16 (CSB)

The Shine Bright Shawl is a crochet crescent-shaped shawl that encourages you to shine brightly in this world! This pattern is inspired by my daughter, who was diagnosed with Autism in March 2018, and from the beginning it has been our motto that we want to help her shine brightly in this world. Her name is “Elinor” which means “light of God,” and she has been light and joy in my life since the moment she was born. That doesn’t mean that we don’t have hard days, but we try to remember that light shines brightest in darkness.

Pattern includes written instructions and pictures.
