Shiny Chrismas Bauble
A wonderful last-minute (or not-so-last-minute, if you start making it now ;) ) Chrismas or New Year gift for your family, friends or the most important person in your life - yourself!
Any combinations of yarns will do, but this project will be especially great for making use of your leftover fantasy yarns with payette, glitter or beads.
One piece takes about an hour to complete, and there is no sowing except for the hanging loop, as the ornament is made as one piece.
Notes
Color changes or yarn recommendations: I used Gazzal Rock’n’Roll for the outer side of the bauble, and cotton with payette for the inner side, the weight is 120 m in 50 gr. You can use Gazzal Rock’n’Roll for both sides, or any yarn of similar weight with payette for the inner side.
Also, you can combine any colors of yarn of your choice, provided that they have the same weight, and add a yarn with payette to them. Remember, that if you change the yarn weight, the size of the finished piece will change, too.
I make yarn under single crochet, not regular single crochet (instead of placing yarn over the hook as for a regular single crochet stitch, place yarn under: place your hook over your yarn and draw your loop through, continue as for a regular single crochet). In this pattern, you can work regular single crochet stitches if you prefer.
This pattern is for personal use only. Feel free to sell finished items made with this pattern in small quantities, but please credit Crazily Cozy Animals (Tata Konanava) as the designer.
