Shipshape Sweater
The Shipshape Sweater is an easy and quick beginner friendly oversized chunky crochet sweater. It uses simple crochet stitches to create a fake-knit look. Although this uses chunky yarn, the drape is incredibly light and airy. The sweater also has a classic chic mock neck, and you can choose between a cropped or long version.
Pattern includes:
-Instructions written in US crochet terminology and measurements in centimeters
-FULL exclusive video tutorial that coincides with written instructions, starting from beginning to end
-Cropped or long length versions with full stitch counts provided
-Instructions on how to find the best size and ease
-Color coded instructions for sizes XS-5X
This pattern is suitable for beginners.
GAUGE
Using a 9 mm hook OR ANY HOOK REQUIRED TO MEET THE GAUGE:
10 sts x 8 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm blocked
alternating half double crochet front loop only, single crochet back loop only

The sweater has a range of 25 to 37 cm positive ease.

MATERIALS
1. Yarn: Weight 6 Super Bulky Yarn | Hobbii Happy Place Apricity 65% Alpaca, 28% Polyamide, 7% Wool 50 grams / 120 meters in Deep Surf
-Cropped: 780 (870, 980, 1070, 1210, 1270, 1420, 1520, 1600) meters
-Long: 870 (980, 1140, 1240, 1420, 1520, 1700, 1830, 1930) meters

- 9 mm hook or any hook required to meet the gauge
- Tape measure, stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors, blocking kit (optional)
NOTE ON YARN: You’ll want to use a light airy Weight 6 Yarn similar to Apricity as it’s closer to a Weight 5 chunky yarn. If you don’t want to use a tubed yarn, you can size down and use Weight 5 yarn.
