This is my first crochet design …. I’m a lover of ponchos and just couldn’t find what I was wanting…
so decided the best thing to do was to come up with my own pattern.

This crochet pattern is not written in the “right” way you are probably accustomed to…but, I guarantee ya that there’s enough info for ya to crochet this pattern.

The name came from the fact it was a SHIT SHOW during the process…. starting over and over…changing my mind….crocheting 6 hours and not liking how it looked…etc.etc.etc….. have to say I’m in love with the end result!! I want to make one in all the yarns and colors…some short some thick…some thin and open…etc.etc.etc.

I wanted a poncho/cape that could be versatile…. do only the top portion to the shoulders and have a great cowl…make it shorter for a caplet…. you can customize it however you want…

I wanted a poncho that wasn’t pointed…one that was round and would cover my arms….

This pattern does not teach you how to crochet… it does use basic crochet stitches….there are numerous YouTube videos available teaching you how to crochet.
