Shooting cobwebs
Doilies already look like cobweb at times, this pattern takes it to the next level as it is an actual spider web.
This project will keep you busy for a while and includes Intarsia and short row. So be prepared, it isn’t a beginners level pattern.
But at least, once you will be done, you will be able to proudly show off.
Techniques you will need : Intarsia, short row, slip stitch, kfb, skpsso, sewing
The size of you finished object will vary depending on the yarn and needle you will choose. I recommend you use the needle size suggested on the yarn label, this should give you the optimal result.
You will need :
• 100g black yarn
• 50g white / beige yarn
For your reference this is the size of my samples :
• Needle size : 2,5mm
• Yarn : Schachenmayr - Catania
• Gauge : 26 sts & 42 rows in garter stitch
• diameter at wider point : 40 cm
• diameter at narrower point : 25 cm
