Shooting Star Scarf
The pattern includes written instructions and a photo tutorial for the color change. Additionally, there are links to YouTube videos if you are not yet familiar with double knitting.
The scarf uses an invisible cast-on, invisible bind-off, and slipped edges.
Gauge:
64 stitches and 44 rows= 10cm/4 inches (double knitting)
You will need:
Fingering weight Yarn (2,5 – 3,5mm/ US 1 ½ - 4 Needle) around 400m/428yards per color.
I used:
1 skein Crazy Glitter Yarn (https://www.wollgredel.de) in Houdini Blau, 400m/100g (438 yards/ 15 oz), (92% Merino Wool 4% Stellina 4% Polyester Neps)
1 SORA Lieblingssocke (https://www.wollgredel.de) in Himmlisches Vergnügen, 400m/100g (438 yards/15 oz), (80% Merino extrafine / 20% Polyamid)
Finished dimensions:
188 cm (74 inches) long, 11,3 cm (4,4 inches) wide
Additional materials:
3 Stitch markers, tapestry needle, yarn tension ring. Extra +2 spare 2mm needles
(for binding of).
