Have you ever fallen in love with a gorgeous variegated yarn that you couldn’t find a pattern to go with? Maybe the colors are a little wild. Maybe the colors pool a little too much. Or maybe it’s a little out of your comfort zone, but you had to have it anyway.

The Shorecliff Scarf is the perfect pattern for this skein! We’ve paired our favorite variegated skeins with a complimentary semi-solid. By alternating yarns every two rows you show off the gorgeous crazy variegated colors but temper them with something more subtle.

The stitch pattern is an easy to memorize repeat. This is a great project for knit night or road trips. Designed for the advanced beginner or intermediate knitter, it uses an easy series of yarn over increases and knit two together decreases to form the waves. The alternating colors give the illusion of movement.

Our Tencel-Merino is the perfect blend for this scarf. The merino gives a bit of stretch to the Tencel, while the Tencel gives just a touch of shine. It’s a dream to work with and blocks beautifully.

At a generous 76” (193cm) long the Shorecliff Shawl can double as a wrap on the cool fall nights.
