Shoreline Top Light is a simple V-neck design perfect to wear
on its own or even over a shirt/t-shirt. The design features
simple edges to create a sophisticated look.

First the back is knitted back and forth with increases to shape
the shoulders. Stitches are then picked up along the back to
form each shoulder whilst shaping the V-neck. The fronts and
back are joined, and stitches cast on for the underarms. The
body is then knit back and forth with buttonholes, before
finishing with a simple bind-off and some decreases to create a
neat finish.

Sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9) 10, 11 are intended to fit an approximate actual bust circumference of 75 (80, 85, 90, 95) (100, 110, 120, 130) 140, 150 cm.

Recommended length of finished garment:
53 (53, 53.5, 54, 54.5) (54.5, 55.5, 57, 57.5) 58, 59 cm (measured from mid-back cast-on edge)

Yoke depth:
20.5 (21, 21.5, 22, 22) (22.5, 23, 24.5, 25.5) 26, 27 cm (measured from mid-back cast-on edge to underarm cast-on edge)

Armhole circumference:
42.5 (42, 44.5, 46.5, 48.5) (49.5, 51.5, 55, 57.5) 57.5, 60 cm

Gauge:
21 sts x 28 rows in stockinette stitch on 4mm needles = 10 x 10 cm after blocking

Needles:
Circular needles: 4mm (60 – 120) cm
Double-pointed needles: 4mm

Materials:
5 x 18mm buttons
145 (155, 160, 175, 180) (190, 210, 230, 245) 270, 290 g Brushed Deluxe by Sysleriget (50g = 400m) or any Silk Mohair/Lace weight yarn substitute.

This pattern requires two strands of yarn held together. The yarn quantities listed include the total yarn requirements for both strands.

Should you wish to use two different strands of yarn, you would require half the amount listed of each yarn.

If you wish to lengthen or shorten the top you may require more yarn or less yarn and similarly more or less buttons.
