This pattern is written in crochet shorthand in American English.

Yarn Suggestion - Worsted Weight (Size 4) or DK (Size 3), 480 yards - 1,000 yards depending on yarn weight, hook size, and tension. Hook Size - 6.5 mm or 5.5 mm.

This shawl pattern is a repeat of rows after it is established so you can make it as large or as small as you would like to.

This pattern is very flexible and gauge isn’t really important.

Use whatever yarn you are comfortable with and have fun! The worst that can happen is your edge will curve a little bit.

I always recommend using a large hook size than what is recommended so that your shawl flows and isn’t stiff.
