I have recently fallen head over heels in love with shorty socks. I often use only a bit of a skein in a project, and I’m left wondering what to do with it. I also don’t personally wear a lot of tall socks, especially to sleep in. So these rolled cuffs have become the perfect sleep socks! I can easily kick them off in the night when I get too warm.

This pattern provides instructions for the rolled cuff and the ribbed cuff styles, German Short Row heel, a rounded toe, and when to change colorways if you want a different color heel.

MATERIALS
US 1 (2.50mm) circular needles, 32 or 40-inch cable for magic loop
50 – 75 grams fingering weight yarn*
Tapestry needle to weave in ends
Stitch markers
Measuring tape
* I used only 50 grams per pair for both styles.

Personal note: I designed this pattern for my knitting tribe for Christmas 2019 -- Christina, Donna, Erin, and Lisa. Love you with all of my heart!
