The Showy me shawl really is showing off a bit with the many pops of colors and the pretty lace, It’s just joyful. The rectangular shape is framed with a thick I-cord bind off around three sides.

Updated PDF 5/20/26 at 2:31, the pattern is a free download again as Part 2 was missing: Knit 6 rows and the lace chart had the description missing for the Purl stitches: P on RS, K on WS.

A new type of Yarnology skein has been created to knit the shawl in a few color combos, all in really fresh, happy colors. See the knit kit link in the Yarn section below….

The blocked shawl measures 71” in length and 14” in height, giving you many styling options.
The pattern is fully written, includes a lace chart and a how to video link to create the I-cord bind off.

C2 - Bamboo+ a sport weight yarn. 252
yards a skein in a 60% bamboo/40% cotton.
C3 - A mini skein in matching neon color.
80 yards in an acrylic DK weight.

Notions
Two US size 6 (4 mm) circular needles, one in
40” (101 cm) and 16” (41 cm) in lengths.
18 Stitch markers.
Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Gauge: 16 sts and 25 rows in 4” of garter stitch.

Techniques applied
Knitting and purling flat, changing yarn, lace
knitting, picking up stitches to create I-cord
bind off, weaving in ends and blocking for
best results.
