Swamp-front property. Cozy yet quite shroomy. Absolutely perfect for anyone wishing to raise a family in a toxic environment.

Shroomy pattern includes charts and instructions for both full mittens and a fingerless version.

Materials
• US Size 0 (2mm) set of dpns or circular needles (for Magic Loop method); US size 00 (1.75mm) for ribbing (optional)
• Fingering weight yarn - 231y/50 g (211m/50g). Approx. for the mittens: Color A - 83 yds, Color B - 142 yds , Color C- 25 yds , Color D - 13 yds. Approx. for the mitts: Color A – 69 yds , Color B – 138 yds , Color C- 13 yds, Color D – 6 yds
• Tapestry needle for adding details in duplicate stitch (optional)
Gauge
9 sts x 13 rows (knitting in the round) in 1” x 1” after blocking
Notes
1. Size: The mittens are 66 stitches in the hand part. The mitts start with 64 stitches, then increase to 82 stitches to accommodate the thumb, after which the number of stitches is reduced back to 64. With recommended yarn, needles, and gauge the mittens and the mitts should fit an 8” circumference hand. To make larger size mittens use larger needles.
2. Stranded colorwork: Follow the charts from right to left. Some sections of the design require you to carry yarn over longer stretches of one color. Make sure to catch longer floats using preferred method.
3. Duplicate stitch: The mittens are knit using only 4 colors (colors A, B, C, and D). If desired, use duplicate stitch technique to add design details (colors E, F, G, and H - the color of the mushroom dome, windows, the door, and the body of the dragonfly).

Big Thank You to bgow and Mitt for testing these definitely dangerous fungi for me!
