There is no brand of yarn specified. Use any bulky or worsted weight yarn that pleases you and knits to gauge.

You will want to choose a very drapey yarn (such as a slinky rayon) so that the hem points will hang gracefully instead of curling up.

Information above is for the bulky weight version. If you choose the worsted weight version you will double the yardage requirements, and the gauge is 4.5 stitches per inch.

From the pattern jacket front

Knits up quickly using #11 needles! Or use worsted weight yarn and #8 or #9 needles. The V-neck front fastens with one big button and comes to two flattering points. The back hem forms a single point that falls slightly lower. So you’ll look great coming or going!

Glamorous evening shrug or cozy bed jacket? It all depends on the yarn you choose.
