A practical hood which is neither too baggy nor too snug, this hood keeps your cheeks and chin cozy for the colder months!

This hood is knit on 4mm/US 6 needles for stockinette sections and 3.75/US 5 needles for twisted rib portions.

Sizes:
The sizing for this hood does not differ drastically. The difference is simply in the length of the hood from the forehead to the back of the head.

(S, M) Head circumference = (51-56cm/20-22”, 58.5-63.5cm/23-25”)

Materials

1 strand mohair held together with 1 strand fingering weight yarn.
The sample uses Drops Kid Silk with Drops Flora in Soft Mint and Pistachio respectively.

3.75mm (US 5) Circular needles with 40cm cable (or preferred needles for small-circumference knitting): Used for ribbing and face trim

4mm (US 6) circular needles and 4mm needles with 40cm cable: Used for majority of the hood, in stockinette.
