Siø Cardigan is worked back and forth from the top down in stocking stitch with a saddle shoulder. First the neck is worked, then increases are made for the front and back on each side of the shoulders. After that, increases are worked on the sleeves, and then on both body and sleeves. The work is divided, the body is worked straight down and the sleeves are worked with decreases. Finally, the button band and buttonhole band are worked in stocking stitch.
