“A sprite is a supernatural entity. They are often depicted as fairy-like.”

ATTENTION: THIS IS A DIGITAL PATTERN, NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT.
This is an crochet pattern (amigurumi) to make your very own Fantasy Sprite. You will receive both the English and the Dutch pattern.

In this pattern you can make your own Water Sprite with bendable tail. It can even stand up on it’s own!
There are instructions for both the Siamese version and the one headed Sprite.
you can mix and match with my Fantasy Sprite pattern as well, that gives you tutorials on how to make different ears* and wings for your Sprite.
Another possibility is to combine the patterns to make a Siamese Sprite with legs.
The ears that you see on the black/white haired Sprite are not included in this pattern, but can be found in my ‘FantasySprites’ pattern.

The instructions are written in US crochet terms, with step by step photos.
There is very little sewing involved, the doll is made in one piece, the ears and wings do need to be attached by hand.

When made with cotton yarn weight 4 (medium) the finished product will be about 11 inches long

You’ll need to know how to:
-make a Magic Ring
-work in a round
-single crochet
-increase/decrease
-chain stitch
-slip stitch

What you need:
-Crochet hook 2mm (B) (or 2.5mm/C for thicker yarn.)
-Cotton yarn for the body in your color/style of choice.
(Different types of yarn will make for different sized Sprites.)
-Acrylic yarn for the hair.
-Scissors.
-Tapestry needle to weave the ends.
-2x 8mm oval safety eyes.
-Aluminum craft wire plus some flat nose pliers to cut and bend your aluminum wire.
