This hat is knitted from side to side and both sides are then joined using kitchener stitch. I used German short row technique to shape the crown. Bottom part of the hat, where ribbing for classic hats is usually done - is actually side of the knitted fabric in this pattern, so it may curl a bit, but when you wear your hat, it will look nice.

• Yarn: any fingering weight yarn

• Gauge: 28 stitches and 36 rows = 4 “/ 10 cm

• Needles: 3 US / 3.25mm or size needed to obtain the gauge

• Measurements after washing and blocking:
Small - 20 inches / 51 cm Medium - 20.5 inches / 52 cm Large - 21 inches / 53 cm circumference

• Notions: crochet hook, piece of scrap yarn, tapestry needle
