This shawl can be knit as small or large as you wish - just keep on going with the pattern until you have something as large as you want! Gauge is not important.

You will need at least 100g of lace weight yarn - 100g (250m of lace weight) will make a small shawl approx 132cm along the long edge and 55cm deep at the mid point. Using the whole 200g ball of bobbel cotton suggested you will end up with a shawl 285cm x 85cm.

The shawl is knit sideways, increasing along one side until you get to the middle and then decreasing down the same side until you run out of stitches.

It’s a simple pattern and easy to remember without the instructions - so perfect for knitting on the go.
