SideKicked is a three-color large shawl that incorporates an easy eyelet pattern, begun as a typical top-down triangle. Then a solid color ‘sidekick’ section is added to the side (no short rows). Instructions are written only, no charts, so the pattern is for all knitters. Also, a row counter is very useful for working this shawl.

This pattern is part of a new ebook collection, The SideKick Trio. The ebook includes three shawls that begin with typical triangle construction, and end with a ‘kick’ on one or both sides. The other two patterns in the ebook are SideStepped and SideSwiped.
