This cowl is made in 100% silk and it is great for cool summer or early fall days. It is knitted flat, folded in half and sewn at the cast-on and bind-off edges.

The pattern is ideal for those specialty skeins that you have lying around and that have 400 metres, or 437 yards, per skein.

The design for the cowl consists of three different pattern sections that are repeated, and very easy to memorize. Even though it’s knitted on 3.5 mm needles, it knits up very quickly.
