Measurement-based pattern
My patterns are not written with exact numbers of stitches. Instead, they’ll show you how to measure-as-you-go either by trying the piece on or taking your body measurements and working the piece accordingly.

This allows you to make these shorts in any size, fit or length, also using any size yarn and hook you want! (Although note the obvious considerations that bulkier yarns would make a chunkier finished garments, while thinner yarns would take longer and have more drape.)

I am also currently working on a standard pattern (with stitch counts and gauge) that will be released for free to all who have already purchased the measurement-based pattern. :)

Garment Construction
I believe sideways construction has the following benefits:

• Better fit, especially for curvier bodies.
• Fabric has nicer drape and is less see-through.
• Barely any counting for increases, unlike top-down construction.
