In the beginning, this sock is knitted back and forth with long circular needles, showing off a self-striping yarn to a maximum. Along the front, all the way from the toe up to the finish of the cuff, petite braids with peeking eyelets are climbing. There is no seaming or picking up of stitches at any time while knitting. Perfect for someone who wants to take on the challenge of a different way to knit a sock!

I am very grateful to my skilled, picky and good humoured test knitters! Do take a look at their projects! Some comments from them:

“I’m very pleased, after trying several methods of sideways socks, this is the best!!!”
“It is quite possibly the most comfortable sock I own, and I absolutely LOVE it!”
“I LOVE this sock!”
