Sidonie is a scarf, a bandana or a small shawl. It can be worn in your hair or around your neck. Very quick and easy to make, it is knitted sideways with an eyelet hem and increases then decreases It’s a great project for finishing off beautiful leftovers of yarn and adding a touch of whimsy to your accessories collection.

Gauge: 27 sts & 38 rows for 4 inches /10 cm in stockinette stitches.

Yarn & notions:

• 60 (120, 180) m /66 (135, 200) yards of any fingering or sport weight yarn. Sample shown in size 2 in Yarn by Simone MT (colour Summertime sadness). Please keep in mind that yardage is an estimate.
• US 2 / 2.75 & US 2 ½ / 3 mm with a 40 cm / 16’’ cable.

Sidonie est à la fois un foulard, un bandana ou un petit châle. Il peut se porter aussi bien dans les cheveux qu’autour du cou. Très rapide et simple à réaliser, il se tricote dans le sens de la longueur avec une bordure ajourée et des augmentations puis des diminutions. C’est un excellent projet pour terminer de beaux restes de fil et ajouter un peu de fantaisie dans sa collection d’accessoires.

Laine et matériel :

• 60 (120, 180) m de fil de type fingering ou sport. Le modèle est présenté en taille 2, il est tricoté en MT (50 % merino, 50 % tencel – 100 g = 333 m) de Yarn by Simone, coloris Summertime sadness. Attention, gardez à l’esprit que les métrages ne sont qu’une estimation.
• Aiguilles circulaires 2,75 et 3 mm avec câble de 40 cm de longueur
