Inspired by the beautiful colors of the Mountain West, Sierra is the newest addition to my Pueblo stole library. I love its vintage Southwest vibe. And it’s fun to knit, with wide bias ribs and a colorway that keeps you wanting to do just one more row.

Design Info:

The stole uses 16 colors worked in simple stripes, with color-changes taking place every two rows (mostly), so that loose ends quite easily become fringe, with little weaving in to do later. The stole is worked in two pieces from tip to center and then grafted. Stylish and versatile; wear as a scarf, a stole, a wrap, a shawl.

Sierra is available only as a kit, which uses 4 fiber blends: merino, merino cashmere, merino angora, and merino tweed; in
15 harmonious colors. The kit includes yarn, pattern with written row-by-row instructions and a handy chart, plus a muslin Sunday Knits project bag.

Sierra is the 11th in a series of Pueblo Stole designs.

Love Sierra but want to use your own yarn? … then Sonoma stole may be what you’re looking for, as it is a create-your own colorway version of this stole.
