Sierra Nevada Hood
Pattern is written to fit most standard adult and child size heads and one size to fit over a ski or snowboard helmet. Measurements may vary. Pattern is written in US terms. It is Intermediate, meaning the pattern consists of beginner stitches but working with this type of yarn is a little harder to work with. Has some construction for the garment. When working with this yarn, it is important to keep track of your counts as you mainly have to go by feel to find your stitches and it is easy to lose track of your counts and it can end up being off and make your garment look crooked. Chains at the beginning of a round do not count as a stitch. The hood portion on this hat is worked in Rows back and forth. Once you get to the neck portion you will work in Rounds (Rnds). To attach the drawstring, weave it in and out of the stitches on the last row of the brim.}
