Inspiration:
In May of 2017, my husband and I took our version of a trip of a lifetime…we hiked through Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite National Parks for 12 days. Each morning we woke around 4:30 am eagerly anticipating what the day would reveal in these majestic spaces. On our second morning visiting Sequoia, we were driving through miles and miles of orange fields at the base of the Sierras. As the sun began to peak in the east, the most incredible sunrise unveiled itself. And it is that sunrise, from the citrus fields of central California serves as inspiration for the ‘Sierra Sunrise’ designs (hat, cowl, fingerless mitts and shawl). The colors were so vibrant, almost indescribable. Truly a sunrise I will never forget…
