For most people the first signs of Spring are a welcome sight. Crocuses poking their leaves through frost, trellises going back up in gardens, and (likely) a fair bit more mud and rain.

For me, the truest sign that Spring is here is my birthday, nestled in just after the Spring Equinox. Imagine my excitement when I met a yarn dyer with the same birthday. Naturally, we decided to collaborate!

Besides a shared birthday, we both grow irises in our gardens. It is those beautiful flowers that inspired the yarn. The pattern is designed to play with those colors- to blend and soften them as if looking at a field of flowers.

The pattern includes written instructions for cuff down construction with two needles using the Magic Loop method but any circular knitting method can be used. Instructions are given for a short row heel.
