A low sew pattern to make Sigurd the chubby dragon. Every part is crocheted onto the body, except the head, which is attached by sewing. The wings are worked in turned rows, the rest of the parts are worked in a continuous spiral. The pattern has images for guidance in both the crocheting part and the assembly.

Materials needed:

  • Yarn in a main colour, I used aran weight, light blue (72 g)
  • Yarn in a secondary colour, I used aran weight, dark blue (7 g)
  • Thin yarn for eyes, or safety eyes if you prefer that (I used mercerized cotton yarn, 125 m by 50 g, black and white)
  • Stuffing
  • 3.25 mm hook
  • If crocheted eyes, 2.25 mm hook
  • Darning needle
  • Sewing needle to attach the eyes

I have used cotton yarn (75 m by 50 g). If you use another yarn, make sure to change crochet hook accordingly.
