Yarn: 30g-40g DK yarn (approximately 100-130 yards per beanie depending on yarn and size)
Needles: 4.00mm (6US) knitting needles
Extras: Tapestry needle

Gauge
22 stitches x 28 rows = 10cm / 4 inches knitted over stockinette stitch. This pattern is written for DK weight yarn in four fixed sizes. Please knit a sample swatch to check your gauge, as a different yarn weight or gauge will change the finished size.

Knitted beanie circumference and length when finished:
Preemie: approximately 26cm / 10.2 inches wide x 13.5cm / 5.3 inches long
0-3 Months: approximately 29.5cm / 11.6 inches wide x 15.5cm / 6.1 inches long
3-6 Months: approximately 36.8cm / 14.5 inches wide x 17cm / 6.7 inches long
6-12 Months: approximately 40.5cm / 15.9 inches wide x 19cm / 7.5 inches long
Length can be adjusted by adding or reducing repeats of rows 21 and 22, as indicated in the pattern.
