The yoke is worked first, from the bottom up with Léttlopi. The bottom part of the cape is worked with single-ply Einband from the yoke and down in four pieces using garter stitch (back pieces are sewn together afterwards).

This Fair Isle cape begins at the yoke bottom until the finished neck. The rest of the poncho pieces are then picked up and knit downwards in garter stitch.
