First shawl design of year 2015, Silk Road. This is a bottom up shawl that comes with some cablings, textural stitches and lace elements. I made a medium size with 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn.

There are 3 sizes included in the pattern but it can be enlarged easily by adding two full repeats at each triangle.

To achieve a more stretchy and pointy edging, a very loose cast on with much larger needle is recommended. I use long tail cast on for this shawl.
