THIS PATTERN IS PART OF THE CORONATION KNITS EBOOK COLLECTION AND IS NOT AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE SEPARATELY.

THE BOOK IS ALSO AVAILABLE IN PRINT FORMAT FROM MY WEBSITE.

This feminine scarf is constructed by first knitting the centre panel flat using a combination of intarsia and fair isle techniques. The striped inner border is then picked up and knitted in the round around all four ‘sides’ of the centre panel. The feather and fan edging is also knitted in the round. There is sufficient yarn remaining to continue knitting this outer edge until it is quite considerably larger.

Finished Dimensions:
(after blocking) 53.5cm (21”) square

The scarf can be worn as a headscarf or as a neat neck scarf.
