Silke is a drapey, flattering tunic with front points that hang down longer than the back. She’s worked in one piece up to the English tailored shoulder seams. Double the yardage if using two strands of tsumugi. also works with one strand tsumugi and one of silk/mohair.

 Approx 1100 (1300, 1700, 1900, 2100) yds of a DK weight yarn that gets gauge

Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool - 45% wool, 35% silk, 20% nylon, 191 yds per 50 g skein 
6 (7, 9, 10, 11) skeins in Bronzed Green
Also Recommended: 
Habu A-1 Tsumugi - 100% silk, 472 yds per 1.75 oz - used double throughout 
5 (6, 8, 9, 9) cones
Needles 
US 6 / 4 mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge
