I recently won 3 skeins of Hamilton Yarns’ Heaven’s Hand Sister Silk in a lovely shade of Moss green. Dutifully I did a pattern search on ravelry, but nothing really rang my chimes. Everything was either too simple or required too much yarn. This beautiful yarn cried out for a simple lace pattern. I cannot resist combining the occasional cable with lace, so I thought, why not design my own? A cowl is worn near the neck and face and what better place to put a bit of silk?
The pattern is free because, really, it is so simple and barely test-knitted and definitely not properly tech-edited. So please be kind. I am happy to answer questions, but much of the details are to be worked out by you, dear Knitter.
