Silky Sampler Cowl is a fun and colorful pattern that gives basic instruction for multiple knitting techniques. Perfect for the knitter who is ready to move on from knits and purls! Also a great travel project that will hold your interest without too much pattern complication.

This is approximately a 40” loop, so the one size works for both a longer wrap or close double wrap.

Techniques include color change, jogless join, seed stitch, twisted rib, stripes, spiral stitch, and slipped stitches.

Techniques used but not included in the pattern are Provisional Cast on, and Kitchener Stitch, both available on Ravelry.

Materials needed:
Size 8, 16” circular needles
1 stitch marker
2 yards of scrap yarn, approximately
1 tapestry needle
Worsted weight yarn; 110 yds MC, 70 yds each of 4 contrast colors
