Delicate, simple and quietly pleasing, Silver Birch is inspired by the elegant markings and graceful form of birch trees.

This pattern came about while knitting along with Barbara Kennedy during the Sock Pool Experiment, where the joy was as much in the shared process and unexpected results as it was in the finished socks.

With a gentle rhythm and understated detail, Silver Birch is designed to let the yarn shine while adding just enough texture and pattern to keep the knitting interesting. A calm, satisfying knit with a little woodland magic woven into every stitch.
