Silver Birch was inspired by the lovely birch forests and lakes where I live in Ontario. I wanted to capture the movement of the water, the dappled light and the texture of the birch trees in my back yard.

This wrap is knit flat in a self striping cotton with a short repeat and a solid neutral cotton for a lightweight, breathable summer wrap. The pattern incorporates a beautiful drop stitch pattern that highlights the variegated yarn and a simple lace section to add texture, interspersed with some stocking stitch stripes to ground it all.

With two buttons, the wrap can be worn in a variety of ways and will soon be your favourite for wearing down to the dock for a glass of wine, over a simple tee to run errrands, or even over your bathing suit at the beach.
