Silver Fir Mitts feature a horizontally knit cuff with a button-up detail. A single cable panel grows up from the cuff like a lone fir tree. DK weight yarn keeps your hands cozy during cooler months & ensures a fairly fast knit. Garter stitch details throughout the mitts pull the design together. Choose a solid or semi-solid yarn to best show off the design. A luxury blend like merino-alpaca will make this project extra special.

This pattern assumes knowledge of cabling, picking up stitches, working in the round, and attaching buttons to correspond with buttonholes. Both charts and written directions are provided for all stitch patterns.
