Inspiration
A few leftover yarns can be enough to create a matching headband to complement your favorite knitted garments. In this headband, you can also play with the flower embroidery — work it in the same color for texture without contrast, or use other leftover yarns to add a touch of color to your piece. You could also enhanced it with beads, or even dried flowers.

What do you knit to know?
Knit, purl, increase, and decrease stitches. Suitable for beginners eager to learn.

Construction notes
The headband is knitted sideways, starting and ending with an I-cord that serves as a tie to adjust it around the head. After finishing, it is completed with a small buckle or a stockinette stitch bow at the center.

There are three versions of the headband:

Version 1: Features more lace and embroidered flowers in the first half, while the second half has only a small lace detail.

Version 2: Features a symmetrical lace pattern on both halves. The cover sample shows this version.

Version 3: Similar to Version 2, but wider.

Once the headband is knitted, there are endless possibilities to customize it and add additional texture and personality to the piece. It can be left as is, or enhanced with embroidery, beads, or even dried flowers.The different options are explained.

Materials

• 15 g of yarn, fingering to DK weight. The width will vary depending on the yarn thickness (fingering will be narrower, DK will be wider).
• Circular or double-pointed needles suitable for the yarn: 3–3.5 mm (US 3 to 4) for fingering weight, 4 mm (US 6) for DK weight.
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
• Crochet hook of a similar size for making bobbles (optional).

Gauge
A gauge swatch is not strictly necessary, except to check how tight or loose your knitting is. Due to its small size, the headband itself can serve as a swatch, allowing adjustments for future versions. So, for those who don’t enjoy knitting swatches — good news!

Unos restos de lanas nos pueden valer para acompañar las prendas que hemos tejido con una diadema a juego con tu tejido favorito.
En esta diadema además podrás jugar con el bordado de las flores, que lo podrás hacer en el mismo color si quieres textura y no contraste, o utilizar otros restos de lanas para dar más colorido a la diadema. Incluso podrás customizarla con abalorios y flores secas para ocasiones especiales.

Requisitos previos
Saber tejer derecho, revés, hacer aumentos y disminuciones. Apto para principiantes con inquietudes de aprender.

Notas de construcción
La diadema se teje de lado a lado, empezando y terminando con un i-cord que nos sirve para anudarla y ajustarla a la cabeza. Tras terminarla se remata con una hebilla o un lazo en P jersey en la parte central.

El patrón incluye tres versiones de diadema:
Versión 1: Mucho calado y flores en la primera mitad, mientras que la segunda mitad solo tiene un pequeño detalle de calado

Versión 2: Calado simétrico en primera y segunda mitad. La diadema de la portada es esta versión.

Versión 3: Similar a la versión 2, pero más ancha.

Una vez tejida la diadema, existen infinitas posibilidades para customizarla y darle todavía más textura y personalidad a tu boina. Podrías dejarla tal cual o podrías jugar con bordados, insertar cuentas o intercalar flores secas e incluso mezclar todo. Te muestro las tres alternativas para que personalices al máximo tu diadema.

Materiales

• 15 gr lana grosor fingering a DK. Según la el grosor la anchura diferirá (fingering más estrecha y DK más ancha)
• Agujas circulares o de doble punta acordes al hilado 3-3,5 mm fingering – 4 mm DK.
• Aguja lanera para rematar los hilos
• Ganchillo de grosor similar para los bodoques (opcional)

Tejido de Muestra
La muestra en principio salvo para ver como de prieto o flojo te queda el tejido no es necesario que la tejas. La diadema en sí por su tamaño nos hace de muestra y para próximas diademas podremos ir ajustando. Así que para las que no os gusta hacer la muestra, buenas noticias
