Simi Scarf
by Isaac Thull
The Simi Scarf is a beautiful, textured kerchief made using the Tunisian Chill Stitch. The closed and dense fabric will keep you warm on blustery winter days.
The simple shaping and stitches work up fast and will keep you hooked (pun intended).
Uses an 8.0 mm Tunisian crochet hook with a 16” cord and 3 skeins of Just Yarn Tweed in the color Rust Tweed.
Notes:
- The scarf length can be adjusted by adding/ subtracting repeats.
- The pattern is divided into 2 sections; increase and decrease. This is so the row count does not get out of hand. Place a stitch marker in the 1st row of the decrease section for easier counting.
Finished Measurements:
60.5” Wingspan x 9” Wide
Gauge:
13 st x 13 rows in Tunisian Chill Stitch, unblocked = 4” square
