Construction notes: Simone Sweater is a slightly oversized pullover with a classic crew neckline and relaxed dropped shoulders. Gentle short rows shape the upper back, creating a beautiful fit while maintaining the sweater’s effortless silhouette. Three broad, flat cables travel calmly across the front and back, bringing quiet structure and rhythm to the design. The same cable motif continues along the top of the subtly tapered sleeves, tying the garment together with understated harmony. A softly lowered back hem — formed with additional short rows — enhances the relaxed silhouette and adds a thoughtful finishing touch. The neckline is refined with a clean welt detail and a twisted rib neckband. Twisted ribbing at the cuffs and hem, finished with sewn edges, lends a polished and timeless look.

Inspiration: This pattern is inspired by Simone Weil and her quote „Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity. “
