A pillow from the Quebec department store Simons was the inspiration for this cute easy colorwork sock pattern and in happy serendipity, beautiful sock yarn hand dyed in Quebec brought my vision to life!

MATERIALS
-approx 60-80g fingering weight yarn in MC (light neutral)
-four to six (or more!) colour varieties of fingering weight yarn, up to 10 g of each
Suggested yarn:
3 ply merino sock 80/20 from Kat’s Riverside Studio in Ghost for MC, Quintet Plus set of 25 g minis in St. Henri palette
-stitch markers
-tapestry needle
-needles in the correct size (2.0-2.5 mm) needed to obtain gauge, and a smaller size for ribbing
The pattern is written to accommodate different needle preferences (double points, 9 inch circulars, or long circulars with magic loop).
