The Simpel Scarf is a soft and chic scarf. The scarf is knitted using knit and purl stitches. You will use 4.5 mm (US 7) (circular) knitting needles and knit the scarf flat, back and forth.

To ensure that both sides of the scarf look the same, you will use the double knitting technique. This is a technique where you knit the front and back of a project at the same time.

The scarf is also knitted in garter stitch. The scarf has a chic look thanks to its simple design. Pair the scarf with a simple blouse and a pair of jeans, for example.

Size: Approximately 115 cm / 45.3 inches long. You can adjust the length to your preference. The scarf is approximately 8 cm / 3.1 inches wide and can also be adjusted.
Skill level: Beginner.
Techniques: Knit, purl, cast-on and bind-off.
Materials: The scarf is made using Cardiff Cashmere – Classic – Uva (601). One skein was used for the scarf shown in the photos.

De Simpel Scarf is een zachte, chique sjaal. De sjaal wordt gebreid met rechte en averechte steken. Je maakt de sjaal met 4,5 mm (US 7) (rond)breinaalden en je breit de sjaal heen en weer.
Om ervoor te zorgen dat beide zijden van de sjaal er hetzelfde uitzien, gebruik je de techniek dubbel breien (double knitting in het Engels). Dit is een techniek waarbij je tegelijkertijd de voor- en achterkant van een project breit.

Bovendien wordt de sjaal gebreid in ribbelsteek. De sjaal ziet er chic uit dankzij het eenvoudige ontwerp. Combineer de sjaal bijvoorbeeld met een simpele blouse en een spijkerbroek.

Maat: ongeveer 115 cm / 45,3 inch lang. Je kunt de lengte zelf aanpassen. De breedte van de sjaal is ongeveer 8 cm / 3,1 inch en is eveneens aanpasbaar.
Geschikt voor: de beginnende breier.
